Just In: APC Releases Timetable For Congresses, Silent On National Convention

 

 

The national caretaker and convention committee of the All Progressives Congress, APC , has released timetable for the congresses but silent on national convention.

Briefing newsmen after the meeting at the party headquarters in Abuja on Thursday, Secretary of the committee, Senator John Akpanudoedehe said Ward congresses will hold on July 10, LGA Congresses are fixed for August 6th while the state congress will hold on September 3. The zonal Congress has been slated for 30th September, 2021.

The time table is however silent on the National Convention of the party.President Muhammadu Buhari gave the hint during the exclusive interview with the Arise tv earlier on Thursday that party members should allow the Mai Mala Buni led committee to do a thorough job.

He said, “ you cannot sit in Lagos and decide who will be the party’s presidential candidate. It will be determined by all the party members.”
