To set the record straight,as a bonafide son of Onibata Isaga Dynasty,Yayi's paternal FAMILY. After series of unfounded and debilitating stories around the originality and validity of the son of the soil of the gateway state,the Distinguished Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola,fondly referred to as 'Yayi' is finally now unraveled.

Erasing the doubts from the false political merchandisers.The genealogy of his forefathers and the Journeys which led each and everyone of them to anywhere they stayed and lived are as follows:

To start with,there were five brothers, namely:Eyisha, Onilude,Olege, Akanni and Akinola.Eyisha left Isaga-Orile even before the invasion of Isaga-Orile by the Dahomey.He settled at a forest then called Ewe Agbigbo forest,(a forest full of young Agbigbo birds).
The said forest now covers,Ilupeju,Odi-Olowo,Mushin, Ojuwoye,Olorun sogo,Idi-Araba,part of Somolu,Surulere, Abule Akinwunmi,Yaba and Igbobi-Sabe,all in Lagos State.One of his own descendants named Akinsete Bada was the first and the last Aare onakakanfo of Awori & Egbado land so far. Such story and names are traceable till date. His territory as Aare onakakanfo covered from Lagos to the whole Egbado land then.As substances of heritage, part of our drums as 'Onibata' (Bata-Drummers) family are still there in our family house in Lagos.
The present Baale of Ilupeju in Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye LCDA (High Chief Hamzat Abiodun Alli-Allen) is from Eyisha lineage of Onibata Isaga Dynasty,same was the late Oba of Odi-Olowo,HRM Oba Fatai Adisa Irawo, whose mother (Barakat) was a descendant of Eyisha.
Immediately after the Dahomey invasion, Onilude my own great grandfather returned to Isaga-Orile (The ancient drums and bata drums are still presently intact at Isaga-Orile).The political rumour mongers can also verify this claims if still in doubt.
Olege,Akanni and Akinola on their own fled to Ilaro. At Ilaro, Olege begat Sangolade, Sangolade begat Ogundimu Sangoloni,Ogundimu beggat Ogunleye,Ogunleye begat Abdul-Gafar Ayinde Adeola.
It was Abdul-Gafar Ayinde Adeola (aka Oteco) who in search of greener pasture went to Lagos where Sulaimon(now Solomon) Olamilekan Adio was born.
Abdul-Gafar Ayinde Adeola,whose mother's name is Alaba from Alapapo compound, Joga-Orile,lived, died and was buried in Lagos at 3 Ogunsola Close Alimisho. The address above is verifiable in Alimosho Lagos.
Sangolade,Ogundimu and Ogunleye were all born,lived,died and buried in Ilaro,at onibata-Isaga compound,Pahayi-Ilaro.At the family house at Pahayi,our bata drums from our lineage are also very much alive and tidily kept hitherto.
As for Akanni, his own descendants are still at Ilaro,while most of the Akinolas later went and settled at a place now called Otun town via Akute in Ifo local government.
One of them, (late Chief Gilbert Owolabi Akinola) was once installed as Baale of Otun via Akute.
To keep the heritage drum alive, Our bata drums are also there. All these places are available for probe anytime any day. That is for the political jobbers whose task without doubt is to tell 'Baba Wande' styles of stories for their sponsors underneath.
Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, the Aare Gbobaniyi of Ilaro and Aremo Yewa is a bona-fide son of the Soil whose Paternal and maternal roots originated from Ogun State. While his Father's heritage springs from Ishaga land, his Mother's also was from Abeokuta.
These grand rooted stands is enough for players of political grandeur to understand. One of such who attained that levels of understanding is Mr Segun Sowunmi, a political analyst and a key stakeholder in Ogun State Political landscape who sometimes ago declared his gateway support for Senator Yayi that 'if Yewa-Awori waste gubernatorial chances through Senator Adeola,Abeokuta would woo him as their candidate to take the gateway sate to the next expected levels.
The head of the family of Onibata family right now is Chief Michael Adelani Ogundimu,the Akinrogun of Pahayi-Ilaro,the Akogun of Gbokoto and the Agoro of Isaga-Orile.
Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, all loved to be refers to as 'Yayi' is the Aare Gbobaniyi of Ilaro land,Aremo of Yewa Land, Okanlomo of Awori Land and Araba of Isaga-Orile land too. Haters at this time now seems too late to continue in the path of malignment with sucrose-licking for meager political rascals who always think they would have their evil ways, however, they should be on the look for positive rounds of geographical turnaround coming to the gateway state after his official inauguration as;The Executive Governor of Ogun State come 2027. Time shall tell but this time will definitely tell a good story for 'Yayi' and all good citizens of the state. No region or district would be left untouched for a good and better legacies moving on.
