The Lagos State Coordinator of the Special Marshals, RS2.1 Lagos, SM (Dr.) Olabisi O. Dennis, has commended Xtremegrase Cleaning & Pest Control Limited for its remarkable Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) intervention at the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Epe Unit Command.
The intervention, carried out under the 2026 Xtremegrase Community Impact Initiative, involved the complete renovation and donation of a three-unit toilet facility to the FRSC Epe Unit Command, providing a cleaner, healthier, and more conducive sanitary environment for officers, Special Marshals, visitors, and members of the public.
Speaking during the commissioning ceremony held on Friday, September 4, 2026, Dr. Olabisi Dennis, who is the Lagos State Coordinator of the Special Marshals, National Publicity/PRO of the Pest Control Association of Nigeria (PECAN), and Managing Director/CEO of Fumigaclean Limited, described the initiative as a commendable demonstration of corporate responsibility, community service, and commitment to creating positive change.
Dr. Dennis commended Xtremegrase Cleaning & Pest Control Limited for going beyond its core business of professional cleaning and pest control to use its expertise and resources to address a genuine environmental and sanitation need within the FRSC Epe Command.
He noted that the project is a practical demonstration of the importance of partnerships between corporate organisations and public institutions, adding that meaningful community development begins when organisations identify challenges around them and take concrete steps to provide solutions.
The State Coordinator further acknowledged that the initiative aligns with the spirit of service and responsibility promoted by the Special Marshals Scheme, which complements the efforts of Regular Marshals in promoting road safety and protecting lives.
It is noteworthy that the founder and CEO of Xtremegrase Cleaning & Pest Control Limited, SM Jonah Okoukoni, is also a serving member of the FRSC Special Marshals. However, the intervention was undertaken primarily as an organisational CSR project through the Xtremegrase Community Impact Initiative, reflecting the company's commitment to giving back to the communities it serves.
Dr. Dennis disclosed that the project would be presented as a model initiative during the forthcoming meeting of Unit Coordinators and Lagos State Executives, with the aim of encouraging other Special Marshal Units, individuals, philanthropists, and corporate organisations to undertake similar impactful projects.
He also congratulated the newly decorated Unit Commander, ACC Hussaini Haruna, under whose leadership the project was successfully completed, expressing optimism that the Command would continue to benefit from more developmental initiatives.
While encouraging the two Special Marshal Units in Epe Command to sustain the momentum, Dr. Dennis called on community leaders, philanthropists, and corporate organisations within Epe to continue supporting the Federal Road Safety Corps in its efforts to promote road safety and protect lives.
He emphasized that the responsibility of creating safer communities and protecting lives requires the collective efforts of government institutions, corporate organisations, community leaders, and members of the public.
The commissioning ceremony was attended by officers and men of the Corps, Special Marshals, community leaders, representatives of Xtremegrase Cleaning & Pest Control Limited, and other distinguished guests.
