Sterling N137.2b Revenue, Tincan Customs Command Ready For Trade Facilitation – Cmptr.Joe Anani

Comptroller Anani disclosed that the command generated N137.2bn as revenue for the month of August, 2026. The revenue represents over 70% of the monthly revenue target of the command,

Anani disclosed this when addressing the new executive officers of the League of Maritime Editors (LOME), led by the President, Mr. Felix Kumuyi, who visited him at the command’s headquarters at Tincan Island Port, Lagos.

He warned that the Service will not tolerate the activities of economic saboteurs in the system, adding that importers who fail to be compliant to trade regulations will have themselves to blame.

Anani disclosed that he operates an open door policy as part of his efforts to ensure that all issues that lead to trade facilitation are addressed.

He appreciated LOME for the consistent and professional manner in which members have reported the activities of this command.
