Whether you are in government service, private employment, or running a personal business, you must plan ahead for retirement. Most times, the plan to survive on children's allowance fails, and people begin to suffer when they no longer have the strength to work.
It is not wrong for full-time Pastors today to engage in one business or another. I charge us as Pastors to use the opportunities abound around and on social media to make money for ourselves, rather than scrolling endlessly and contributing to other people's money-making systems. There are many avenues to explore for Pastors and everyone to make financial stability a core effort in ending better and well.
Embrace old-age plans that help you survive hardship - by saving, investing, and building income streams that will sustain you in old age.
Apart from loving your wife and children with your funds, please endeavour to plan, and plan well, for old age.
