The moves and actions to make Nigeria better and stop insecurity is a responsibility for everyone including our leaders on our religious altars. Based on the instructions from the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria directives, The Leadership of The Redeemed Christian Church Of God under the revered Pastor, Enoch Adejare Adeboye the general Overseer, charged all members at different and regional locations nationwide to observed a three days fasting and prayers which started on Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th May, 2026.
According to the directives, the prayers and fasting is to be rounded of with a joint rally to showcase the mission's dire concerns, also using the rally to appeal to the federal government and state leadership of the Federation to use all arsenals within their command to intervene and stop the insecurity menace the nation has been suffering for years now.
Its so saddened to hear and witness constant bloodshed of innocent Nigerians who were either taken in kidnapping by the Bandits or kidnappers from different villages, schools like the recent Ogbomoso schools kidnapping at where a teacher was shot and killed and another one murdered in a gruesome manner in their hideouts.
The RCCG church and the leadership of the PFN in Nigeria thereby use the rally platforms to cry to God for the three days prayers and fasting exercise for God's intervention to aids and support the government and our gallant military machineries to succeed in ending insecurity in the Nation.
The peaceful rally went on successfully as members were seen carying diverse inscriptions on their placards, sombare written with such as 'End Insecurity in Nigeria Now' 'Save Nigeria from Terror' etc, 'as a church and body of Christ in faith, we are of the highest assurance that God in His infinite Mercies would answer both the prayers and fasting and let our leaders a listening hear with divine solution to end the insecurity menace the nation is terribly going through hitherto'.
