TRACE,POLICE JOINS OTHER SISTER AGENCIES FOR SECURITY SHOW OF FORCE OPERATIONS




As the new year celebrations approaches the peak,The Police Area Commander, Sango Area Command, ACP Oladele Olushola Bamidele on Tuesday converged personnel from sister security and traffic management agencies including TRACE, FRSC, NSCDC, SO-SAFE Corps, NDLEA, V.I.S, and AMOTEKUN Corps for a show of force operation.
The operation was aimed at combating and nipping in the bud any likelihood of breakdown of law and order, acts of rascality, and indiscriminate parking that may hinder the free flow of traffic during the festive period.

 

 

 

 

 

 

It is common for the security agencies any locality to organize regular show of Force operations in their districts to display further safety assurances for the citizenry and community habitants as Christmas and the new year celebrations would never be different.


While addressing the personnel, the Area Commander urged officers to discharge their duties with a high level of professionalism, discipline, and cooperation in the discharge of their responsibilities.

While everyone is enjoins to avoid excessive and careless mode of celebrations in driving,drinking and other means of carefree attitudes that can lead to harm for others,the security agencies wishes all a courteous and prosperous new year celebrations. 

Meanwhile,days ago the TRACE Ota Divisional Command activates a Special Operation At Sango, Oju-Ore, Determined to ensure yuletide period free of traffic bottleneck, the Ota Divisional Command of the Traffic Enforcement and Enlightenment Agency, TRACE, on Tuesday, started continuous monitoring and enforcement of traffic at Sango and Oju-ore trouble spots within Ado-Odo Local Government of Ogun State.

At the enforcement,The operation led by the the Divisional Commander, Salau Hammed, ensures a 24-hour presence of traffic officers to keep vehicles moving and respond quickly to incidents.

During the operation which began as early as 8 a.m. on Tuesday, TRACE Operatives single-handedly cleared bunch of hawkers and street urchins who usually block the roads displaying their wares.  The operation is intended at extending road-safety caution to drivers and all road stakeholders during the yuletide period. 
He stressed the need to clear Sango and Oju-ore of streets traders who usually blocks roads meant for vehicular movements and commuters uses which usually invole blockages for vehicles resulting in congestion and risk of accidents during festive peaks.


Based on the resolves of the Ogun state Traffic Agency (TRACE) to ensure the Christmas and new year season is rid of any logjams and reckless usage of the road by drivers and illegal ware displays by the roadside, the State commands has been ordered to ensure safer and stress-free movements for both vehicles and other road users alike.
