The Zone 2 Command Carol Service 2025 has once again reinforced the message that beyond law enforcement, the Nigeria Police Force remains committed to community engagement, moral leadership and shared values as vital pillars for building a safer and more united society.
Assistant Inspector General of Police incharge of Zone 2, AIG Adegoke Fayoade led the solemn reading of the Nine Lessons as Apekeola and other guest artistes delivered electrifying performances that thrilled guests at the event.
Held in an atmosphere of worship, reflection and celebration, the annual carol service brought together senior police officers, dignitaries, members of the police community and invited guests. The gathering underscored the enduring values of peace, love and togetherness that define the Christmas season.
Through his leadership role at the service, AIG Fayoade once again demonstrated his consistent advocacy for unity within the Force and harmonious relations between the police and the wider community. He emphasized that unity, resilience and love are not only moral virtues but also effective tools for promoting peace and reducing crime, especially during the festive period when social tensions may increase.
The programme was further enriched by soul lifting renditions from the Police Band, which added colour and reverence to the occasion, while performances by other artistes kept the audience fully engaged throughout the service.
