Dr. YoungHoon Kim, widely recognized as the world’s highest IQ holder, has sparked global conversation after making a public declaration of his Christian faith, describing himself as “nothing but a servant of Jesus.”
The 36-year-old South Korean scientist holds an IQ score of 276 — the highest ever recorded — as verified by multiple global organizations, including Mensa, Giga Society, the World Memory Championships, and the Official World Record in partnership with Guinness World Records.
Despite his extraordinary intellect and scientific influence, Kim insists his life’s purpose goes far beyond intelligence or academic acclaim. In a now-viral post on X, formerly Twitter, he wrote:
“As the world’s highest IQ record holder, I am nothing but a servant of Lord Jesus. That is my entire life. I was born only for this calling.”
The post has since attracted over 160,000 views and more than 10,000 likes, drawing both praise and curiosity.
Kim went on to describe Jesus Christ as “the person with the highest IQ in all of human history,” adding:
“He was fully man and fully God. Therefore, no one in history could ever be more intelligent than Jesus.”
In follow-up posts, Kim reinforced his faith-based worldview, stating:
“Christ is my logic.”
“I will use this opportunity to lead many souls to God.”
He has also linked his scientific insights to his spiritual convictions. In previous statements, he proposed that consciousness may extend beyond the brain, potentially existing as “quantum information,” which he believes can survive after death. Earlier this year, he tweeted:
“God exists. 100%.”

Outside his spiritual statements, Kim is the founder and CEO of NeuroStory, a South Korean government-backed startup creating AI-powered tools for brain health. He also established the United Sigma Intelligence Association and serves on the board of the Lifeboat Foundation, an international think tank focused on safeguarding humanity from existential risks.
Yet, despite his groundbreaking work in science and innovation, Kim maintains that his core identity is rooted in his Christian faith.
“I don’t want to be remembered as the smartest man in the world,” he once said.
“I want to be remembered as a man who pointed others to Christ.”
