While health challenges varies from one place to another, Autism has been a neurological health situation affecting millions globally without early discovery.
In follow up to the 15th edition of Autism conference, tagged; ''From Awareness to Action: 15 years of advancing Autism Inclusion''
Health and care-giver practitioners cum Stakeholders has taken time individually to appraise and commends the management of Guaranty Trust Bank for establishing an initiative from its Corporate Social Responsibility unit which brought advocacy for strong awareness to specially-wired children and adult from the nature.
The Initiative which is set to cover its 15th edition called the Orange Ribbon Initiative was established to provide support and Advocacy for Autism awareness in Nigeria. The Orange Ribbon Initiative from GTCO has been a continuous reaffirmation for its commitment to early discovery and applied knowledge for the treatment and care for the victims of the brain health challenges.
The year 2025 Autism edition promised to expose more of numerous advocacy channels with proven healing spectrum from facilitators who has not only learned from the neuro-psychological observations but has personally lived and overcome mythical beliefs of autistic children characterizing our societies.
Facilitators were drawn from specialists of Autism Advocates, Behaviour analysts,Researchers,Speech Pathologists,Developmental Pediatrics and other health consultants with global and versed application of knowledge on children and adult behavioral challenges.
The conference is scheduled as follows:
15-16 July 2025 at Muson Centre,Onikan Lagos.
while 17-19 would pave way for a one on one consultation with specialists at Adeyemi Bero Auditorium,Alausa Secretariat, Lagos.
Time: 10:am daily
The general public is thereby notified to engage and seize the opportunity to attend and become an Advocates to further create awareness and demystify societal stigmas allotted to the neurodevelopmental disorders in our nation and beyond.
