The ancient town of Otta-Awori Kingdom is blessed with Sons and Daughters whose kind-heartedness thrives in miles beyond the town in reaching out to not only the needies but in pushing for socio-economic goalsl for a better society for all. High Chief Olanrewaju Bashorun nicknamed 'Larrybash' as one of distinguished Sons has come out declaring his intention unequivocally to run for political representations of Ota Federal constituency come 2027. In due preparations towards this, the Nigerian Union Of Journalist, Independent Online Chapter, Ota Chapel in Ogun state Chapter paid him a courtesy visit recently where he bares his mind on fundamental reasons he's vying for the office.
High Chief Bashorun who also doubles as the Seriki of Otta-Awori Kingdom. A Chieftaincy tittle in high repute in the town never mince any word while addressing the pressmen's gathering that his intuitive attributes to help and ensure things are done properly has been his utmost priority to serve his peoples' needs come 2027.
I have served my communities under Ado-Odo Ota local government meritoriously without being a politician for decades with my personal resources, when I says resources I don't mean finances alone, my Economic and social influence Nationwide has brought versed developmental projects to the local government hitherto.
With the undeniable supports from our Revered King,HRM Oba Abdulkabir Adeyemi Obalanlege, Lanlege Ekun ||. There are numerous sons and daughters of the Local government that can be of good value however I can beat my chest with the confidence that I will serve better than others minding my community and people-centric movements that had facilitated development among my people till date. Chief Seriki added, 'With God's help,I have been a voice to be reckoned with when it comes to Grassroot mobilisation and community resource services in Education, health,Economic and social commitment in the Constituent without being the political representative,with meritorious services as these, I considered my humble self very fit to serve my people well and better if elected into Federal house of Assembly in Ado-Odo Ota constituency in the next election.
Reacting to series of questions at the sitting, the federal constituent candidate stated he had performed roles quality enough that have facilitated good representation locally, therefore his Connections and influences garnered over the years in business and community services throughout the nation would enhance his political performances to bring notable development to Ado-Odo Ota constituency.
He further stressed the need to have the political will to get a bill passed coupled with quality connections to right political quarters to fund realization of Bill purposes,these and many more he revealed some representatives lacks in bringing dividends of Democracy home to people.
Chief Bashorun, confidently declared as a warrior with Titled definition under the Constituent, he's prepared for all it required to make needed changes materialised for the good people of Ado-Odo Ota Federal constituent starting from 2027 and beyond.
