OGUN TRACE WARN TRADERS AGAINST ROADSIDE WARE DISPLAYS

 

Cdr Olaoke Preaching Traffic gospel at the Palace

 

In Re-echoing the regular traffic chants and regulations of the gateway state,the Ogun traffic agency, Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency (TRACE) through the their Boss,Commander general (Dr) Abdulfattai 'Seni Ogunyemi, yesterday reaffirms the agency commitment to ensure road and market-ware displays and road network obstruction is put to a permanent end. 


The traffic Managers led by Area 4 Commander, Commander Ajibade Ariyo with his team of refined operatives stormed the Palace of HRM Oba Abdulwasiu Ogungbayi,The Onitetiku of Owode with the traffic gospel and the government constant warnings for market women and men to desists from ware display and business locations on the road,an action accordingly which always caused untold traffic hardship for the road users alike. In his word, 'market wares displays has become 'taboo' under our watch henceforth' 'Odeewo' in Yoruba parlance.

The visit to the Kings palace happenstance met virtually all market and community stakeholders in an inauguration celebration mood at which all concerned were preached the message of safer road usage both for drivers and the market people including the general well being of the state as a whole.


Commander Victoria Olaoke, the Divisional Traffic Officer of TRACE Area,Ota in her regular burst of advocacy as trained communication guru in the agency sang it like a song to the sitting audiences of the Owode community and the market stakeholders that the government of Prince Dapo Abiodun and the ministry of Transportation has taken a decisive steps to sanitize and clear all obstructive structures and human factors programmed to frustrate free flow of traffic in the gateways state.
She further appealed for cooperation especially from the market men and women in order to ensure all stakeholders enjoy unfettered relationship that promotes safer lives and properties moving forward.

Other team leaders on the entourage were Commander Ogundiran,The Area4 Corridor Commander, Unit leaders of Owode Ijako and Ijoko, Cdr Ariyo Aduroja, Cdr Temitope Oseni and other senior officers.
