Prominent dignitaries, including Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, former Emir of Kano Muhammad Sanusi II, and Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun, gathered to celebrate Pastor Tunde Bakare’s 70th birthday at a special thanksgiving service in Lagos.
The event also marked the launch of Bakare’s autobiography, The Last, But Definitely Not the Least.
Governor Sanwo-Olu expressed his joy in attending the celebration and praised Pastor Bakare’s impact on the community through his teachings and dedication. Sanwo-Olu offered prayers for Bakare’s continued health and strength in his ministry.
Notable guests included former governors Olusegun Osoba, Ibikunle Amosun, and Kayode Fayemi, El-Rufai as well as the Alake of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo.
