BREAKING: Tyla Shines As Davido And Burna Boy Loses All Nominations At The 2024 Grammy Awards

 


Nigerian singers, Burna Boy and Davido lost all nominations at the 2024 Grammy Awards Ceremony held February 4, 2024.
 
Davido lost in all three of his nominated categories. His nominations comprised Best Global Album for the acclaimed “Timeless,” along with Best African Performance for the track “Unavailable” and Best Global Music Performance for “Feel.”


This marked a significant moment for Davido, securing his first nomination in three distinct Grammy categories.
In the same vein, Burna Boy lost all four nominations at this prestigious event.

He was nominated for the categories of Best Global Performance with Alone, losing to “Pashto” by Bela Fleck , and Best African Music Performance with City Boys, losing to Water by South African sensation, Tyla.

He was also nominated for the Best Melodic Rap Performance with Sittin On Top Of The World losing to Lil Durk’s All My Life featuring J Cole.

Lastly, he lost his Global Music Album with I Told Them project to “This Moment” by Shakti.
