Ogun Government Extends "On-Street Parking Management" To Ogun West

 




The Ogun State Ministry of Transportation has approved Messrs. Abdel Najeem Ventures Limited as the Parking Manager for the On-street Parking Management Scheme in Ogun West senatorial district. 


The State Government engaged the organisation to improve on-street parking operations, optimize usage of the available parking spaces, and enhance the overall functioning of roads thereby ensuring free flow of traffic in Ota and its environs. 


It was revealed that the operation of the scheme shall involve payment of ₦100/hour for every private vehicle that parks on some designated roads. 


These roads are; Ijoko, Sango Ota, Ijako, Oju Ore/Iyana Iyesi, Ilo-Awele, towards Toll Gate, and Sango.


A statement by Abdel Najeem Venture Limited revealed that the operation of the scheme,  shall commence from December, 2023 and the motoring public, especially private car owners, truck drivers, market women, etc were enjoined to cooperate with the Parking Officers of Messrs. Abdel Najeem Venture Limited as they carry out their duties. 


"Also, all motorists are implored to obey all Traffic Rules and Regulations as any traffic offence on these designated roads shall be prosecuted in accordance with the law.


"Abdel Najeem Venture Limited on behalf the Ministry of Transportation wishes you accident-free Christmas and New Year. Thank you," the statement read.
