The enforcement team of the Lagos State Waste Management Authority arrested illegal wheelbarrow pushers trading by the roadside at the Macgregor Road and Awolowo Road in the Ikoyi area of the state.
Spokesperson for the state Ministry of Environment and Water Resources, Kunle Adeshina, made this known on his X page on Friday.
He wrote, “LAWMA Environmental Monitoring and Enforcement Team on night duty Thursday at Macgregor Toad and Awolowo Road in Ikoyi arrested illegal wheelbarrow pushers trading by the roadside and walkways.”
Recall that the Lagos state waste management authority is in all out move to continue sanitize the state for saner and healthier living for all.
