See Exposed Reasons Zimbabwean Authority Detains David Hundeyin

The permanent secretary in the Zimbabwean Ministry of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services, Ndabaningi Nick Mangwana, has revealed why the controversial Nigerian journalist was detained when he flew into the Southern African country.

Recall that Freelanews reports Hundeyin cried out for help that he had been detained in “a smelly locked room for nearly seven hours” at the Harare airport.

According to him, the Zimbabwe government claimed that Hundeyin needed a visa to be in the country.

While confirming that the Nigerian journalist indeed was detained over visa issue, Mangwana revealed that Hundeyin needed a proper visa because he was traveling as an asylum seeker from Nigeria with Ghanaian refugee papers.
