The season of fasting and pleading to Allah to accept our Ibadahs over shortcomings is globally acknowledged as time to express and extends Allah's benevolence to humanity,thus Islam as a religion of peace is to usher all Islamic Faithfuls to show love and tolerance to one another irrespective of faith preferences in the society.
These were the sayings of honourable Saka Fafunmi,the immediate past house of assembly members representing Ifako/Ijaye constituency 1 in Lagos state. He said, everyone should adhere strictly to all teachings and admonitions of various Islamic scholars who had taken time to extend Allah's preachings to all through series of organised programmes all over the nation. "Every believer are expected to continue in good teachings from our various Islamic spiritual leaders during this season of humble advocacies towards Allah the creator of mankind" he stressed.
In his word, "all Nigerians need to continue to render prayers for successful transition and handing over to new administration of Asiwaju Tinubu,the president elect of federal Republic of Nigeria come May 29,also task politicians on quality moves reconciliation among contenders in order to foster unity and cohesion that promotes democratic dividends in the country.
Hon Fafunmi also preaches tolerance as another key word for all to live together in love and harmony,he said any society devoid of true tolerance is bound to experience crisis hence that is far from Allah's expectations from all believers unless such is coming from Asitani,he concluded.
