Accountant wins Glo Festival of Joy house in Lagos~ Fame News

Twenty-four hours after his Aunt told him something good was coming hisway, Hussain Kehinde Garuba, a 24-year-old Accountant, became a proudowner of a 3-bedroom house in Lagos, courtesy of Glo Festival of Joypromotion.

His Aunt had visited him last Sunday and advised him to intensifyprayers as something good was coming his way. He took that seriously,and just a day after, his story changed.

A graduate of the Lagos State Polytechnic, Garba was shocked his Aunt’sprophecy came to fruition through Globacom on Monday, January 12, whenthe draw for the house was done in Lagos.”I was stunned when I got that call.

I just wasn’t expecting somethingas big as that coming my way so early in the year”, said Garuba, whostill lives with his grandmother on Lagos Island.Garuba said he had always hoped and prayed that one day, he would beable to afford to build a house, hence his focus on completing his ICANcertification by next year.

“I could barely sleep last night as I kept pondering what Glo has doneto me,” he said as he collected his house keys, adding that he wouldforever cherish the network.

Garuba’s family members and friends turnedthe house venue of the event to a carnival ground after thepresentation, singing and dancing to the good fortune of their own.

The Special Guest at the presentation ceremony, Mr Hakeem Fahm, who isthe Lagos State Commissioner for Science and Technology, lauded Globacomfor putting smiles on the faces of its subscribers across the country.

He added that what Globacom is doing is an incredible act of generosity,adding that it is worthy of emulation.Globacom’s Regional Manager, Mr Jude Jacobs, enjoined Glo subscribers toparticipate in the promo by dialing *611# and recharging their lines asappropriate for the various prizes.
