The Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency,TRACE, under the leadership of Commander 'Seni Ogunyemi,Corps Commander,Chief Executive Officer, TRACE, In follow-up moves and strategies to eradicate avoidable traffic challenges in the state,Organised a crucial Tete a Tete meeting with Transport stakeholders in Ota,Ogun state.

  The important fraternisation Organised to strengthen coordination among other players recently met road stakeholders through Ota Division 4, under the leadership of Area Commander, Adekunle Ajibade with transport stakeholders in Ado-Odo Ota local government areas the gathering was initiated to facilitate a new way forward to ameliorate traffic gridlock in the area council. 
 
The meeting, further Organised at the stake of continuos fraternisation by newly promoted Divisional Commander,Commander Victoria Olaoke, Ogun division 2, under Area Command 4, of the TRACE Agency.

 At the meeting, collective efforts and resultant challenges due to recalcitrant attitudes of all road users,ranging from drivers,Riders  and commuters including market peddlers displaying their wares and sales on the road were discussed.

 The aforementioned was noted as part of bottlenecks to free flow of traffic movements as the meeting was called to find lasting solutions to the traffic imbroglios on the road corridors.

In addition, Commander Olaoke stated effective approach to end constant traffic bottlenecks along Sango-Idiroko,Oju-Ore and Iyana-Iyesi road corridors can better be handle when all stakeholders like commercial driver leaders, Truck and Motorcycle Riders popularly called 'Okadas' market leaders agrees to adopt languages and methods suitable to address members in corporation with the TRACE divisions and other sister agencies,as entrusted with road traffic and control,she said with such, constant traffic challenges would become things of the past.
 

 The Divisional Commander, suggest market leaders adopt usage of ropes and barriers to prevent market members displaying wares on the road especially around Sango, Oju-Ore and Iyana-Iyesi  local market points.
 
Commanders Salau Hammed, Augustine Ogunkoya, Senior cadre officers of the division added voices that with cooperation from the stakeholders of these road corridors and users,the traffic issues would be trashed in unity. "Your unity with our divisions would remedies the noted challenges on the corridors" they echoed.
 
One of the stakeholders representing motorcycle groups,Mr Popoola Taiwo, (Popson) took time to explain with his colleagues their willingness to partner with the Agency in managing traffic problems in the town, but however appealed to the TRACE and other security operatives to maintain cordiality,understanding with them in resolving same noted challenges among members.

Another market and transport leaders,present at the meeting,also the Babaloja of Oju-Ore market, Chief Ibrahim Oyede added all efforts needed to implement adopted strategies to curb market traders found with habits of abruptly extending wares on part of the road, which further prevents other road users including riders, drivers and commuters enough space would be carried out without further delay henceforth.
