Zone 2 Police Command Declares Indian National Wanted for Stealing Employer’s N500m

 



 

 

 



 

 

The Zone 2 Police Command, Onikan-Lagos, has declared an Indian national wanted for diverting his employers N500,000,000 (Five Hundred Million Naira) into his various personal accounts.

35-year-old Ayan Asit Chakraborty, an accountant, was declared wanted after the Police secured warrants of arrest by the Magistrate/High Court in Lagos.

Chakraborty, according to Zone 2 Special Gazette Bulletin, Ref. No: AR.3000/ZN.2 MTU/TMI Vol 2/141, committed the crime between 2017 and July, 2022.

According to the bulletin, “he is 5.7 meters tall, medium built with oval face, long nose, small mouth, thin lips, good teeth black eyes, white colour in complexion, round chin, curly hair, large head, low forehead, smokes and drinks in habits”.

Also, the bulletin added that, he dresses in corporate/casual, visits clubs and bars.


“If seen, arrest and hand over to nearest police station or to the office of the Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Zone 2 Police Command, Onikan-Lagos or call: 07030308813”, the bulletin concluded.
