 Iganmode Day holds Saturday, as Ota honours Gov Dapo Abiodun



As the grand finale of Iganmode Cultural Festival 2021 holds on Saturday, the organisers of the annual event has finalised plans to confer an award of excellence on the governor of Ogun state, Prince Dr Dapo Abiodun, MFR.


According to a letter signed by the Chairman, Central Planning Committee, Aare Ayodele Bankole, the governor will be honoured with Awori Tourism and Culture Commitment Award.


Bankole, who is also the Otun Maiyegun of Ota, explained that the Governor Abiodun was specifically chosen for the award in appreciation of his commitment to the development of city of Ota.



He added that the governor also represented the great values of the entire Aworiland in attaining its present status, particularly in culture and tourism . 


The Grande Finale holds on Saturday 18th December, 2021 at AUD College ground in Ota.
