SO Sad! Popular Nollywood legend, Baba Suwe, is 'Kus'






While death is never an experience to mock anyone with or for any reasons whatsoever, A newspaper headline many decades ago once carry the Headline, 'Jacob is Kus'  

Using that coined or codeswitch language for death was synonymous to a legend comedian actor with stage name Jacob just like Babatunde Omidina ,(Baba Suwe) was then in his prime acting years.

We got that sad news that Popular Nollywood actor, Babatunde Omidina, fondly called Baba Suwe, is dead.

The ace actor reportedly died on Monday after a protracted illness.

Born on August 22, 1958, Baba Suwe was married to comedienne Omoladun Omidina, who died in September 2009.

Baba Suwe was a top actor in the Yoruba movie industry for decades, and featured in many movies too numerous to mention,but mainly as a comedian.

The Theatre Arts and Motion Picture Practitioners Association of Nigeria will issue a statement soon, a reliable source disclosed.
