As part of its corporate social responsibility, Adron homes and properties have renovated the Gateway international stadium, Sagamu, Ogun state.


Renovation of the roof which was geared towards preparation for the fifth edition of the Adron games scheduled to hold on November 18 this year.


The Group Managing Director, Emmanuel Adetola King, who was represented by the Director-General, Adron homes, Mr. Ayodeji Ojo-Omoniyi disclosed this on Wednesday in Abeokuta during the October edition of SWAN Forum organized by Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Ogun state chapter.


Promising to give SWAN secretariat a face lift, Mr. Ayodeji Omoniyi, noted that most of the company's investments are in Ogun State, which prompted them to bring the fifth edition of the games to the Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu.


He counts his presence at the forum as a privilege, stating that Adron games is aimed at promoting the well being of it's employees spread across Nigeria and discover new set of athletes for the country ahead of the 2024 Olympics.


Earlier, the Chairman, Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, (SWAN), Akeem Akintunde advised members of the association to always explore the potentials in sports writing by giving prominence to grassroots development.


He assured the property management of massive reportage of the games.


The occasion was graced by media representatives from prints, broadcast and online.
