Wife of music legend, King Sunny Ade Honourable Risikat Adegeye, will be buried tomorrow Wednesday, September 29 in Lagos after lying in state, Mr. Ade announced on last week Thursday in a press briefing.
It was stated that the lying in state also will hold same day as well. The burial that will be conducted by Ebony Gardens.
King Sunny Ade said: “I thank God for everything because He knows more than every one of us. Risi’s death was a big loss for me and my family.
“It is indeed a trying time. She was more than a wife to me. She was an angel and I always called her my baby. She was a wife and mother that every good man and child must-have.
He use the medium to thank all the media houses that has made him known all over the world and also made his music soar.
He said: “Members of the press I love you sir, I love you ma whatever I am today without you nobody can know me anywhere beyond this estate.
By the power of your power anywhere in the world they don’t need to see me before they know anything about me everything is from your own angle so I use this opportunity to thank you”
