By Daniel Olushola

The Senator representing Lagos west senatorial seat in the nation's hallowed chamber Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola at the 10th year remembrance  and Official launching of Olu block foundation Saturday 10th July Commends the social welfare activities of the foundation.

Hon.Sherif Yusuf welcoming a guest

He described the magnitude of welfare support the foundation under the founder Chief Ibrahim Olawale Fayomi,The Apagun Pote of Ijebu Ilodo has done as a thing people especially those in government (politicians) should emulate to make the society a better place to live.

The revered Nigerian senator who was represented by the Majority leader Ogun State Assembly, Honorable Sheriff Yusuf also shows his surprises that someone who is not even a politician could be embarking on projects like that just to help the needy,an effort he encourage him to keep up doing to make live easier to common man in society.

" I leant the foundation support to the poor by the organisation  is done monthly I will therefore be glad to render support to movement like that in the society" adding if the founder can venture into capital intensive project as this then I think well meaning people in the society are expected to engage in solving others problems hence the government cannot do it all alone. He stated.

Thanking Olu Blocks foundation founder and the governing councils of members for putting smiles on faces especially the less privileged,Blinds and the widows involved as a center focus. He said.

The founder, Chief Ibrahim Fayomi in his words stated he emulates the gestures from his late father which was the one whose lifestyles heralds the attitudes of giving to the less privileged until his death.

Declared he had to pick it up even after the demise of the father, stated he was surprise seeing people that are not aware of father's demise(beneficiaries) surfaces at his office at same time the late father used to give them gifts annually, this very event spurs my resolve to Continue the gestures as my father has laid down before his death and I have grown to know it's good to contribute towards others welfare and make life easier to my people.
