The Liberian president George Weah recently on a visit this his son,who is making waves and writing his own book on sand of time.
His support has not gone unnoticed as his son, Timothy Weah once praised him for paving the way for him despite coming from a third-world country like Liberia.

On Friday, the 1995 Ballon d'Or winner was a distinguished guest at the Domaine de Luchin as he visited Timothy, who plays for French club, Lille.

The former Chelsea and AC Milan striker toured the Lille training facility during the private visit and had a conversation with his son.

George, who has been married to Timothy's mother for 28 years was looking cute in his white African fabric, which had the Liberian flag imprinted on it. Before leaving the facility, Timothy presented his dad with a customized Lille shirt.

Timothy's Accomplishment and Recent Form
From the look of things, Timothy Weah is not relying on his father's name as he's already writing his own history.
In 2018, the 21-year-old followed his father's footstep by winning the French League with PSG. So far, Timothy has won three Ligue 1 titles - which is more than his dad's record. He also won the Scottish League and Scottish Cup during his loan spell at Celtic.

Last season, the former PSG youngster scored five goals as Lille won the French Ligue 1 title ahead of PSG.
Choosing the USA ahead of Liberia
Timothy has never played for his fatherland despite being born to Liberia president, George Weah and First Lady, Clar Weah.

Timothy, who played over 25 games for the USA youth teams (U15, U17, U20, and U23) has so far been capped 13 times by the USA national team.
Criticism: George Weah is still criticized in his home country for allowing his son to play for the USA after becoming the President of Liberia.
