Information at this platforms disposal indicates that the main reason Benin republic court adjourned hearing of the case against embattled Yoruba activist, Sunday Igboho is not unconnected to the inability of the Nigerian government to provide evidence against him.
Sunday Igboho was arrested at Benin Republic airport on his way to Germany with his wife after the Nigerian government raised alarm that he is a terrorist.While in court yesterday, His wife was released for committing no offence while Sunday Igboho’s case was adjourned till Monday.According to the judge, the Nigerian government could not provide a solid evidence of the allegations against him.
The Nigerian government was also given till Monday to provide evidence against him in order to know his fate.
