Good day to our amiable and a listening governor. I wish to use this medium to appreciate the good work God has been using you to do for our people and dear state since you become the governor our our great state.
Permit me, Sir, to appreciate your efforts on making sure that our roads are free from accidents by giving support to *TRACE* since your inception in office.
Sir, for people like us that follow the activities of *TRACE* on daily bases,I am happy to tell you that they are really doing a great job on our roads. They are seen on our roads in all our local governments 24/7, come rain or shine sir.
They always respond to distress calls almost immediately sir. They are really a great ambassadors of our state and scoring high for this government sir.
Sir, but inspite of these achievements, they would have achieved more but for some of the following observations;
1. They have shortage of staff, which hinders effectiveness and their presence in many places at a time. It is unimaginable how they operate with staff strenght less than a thousand in the busy economic gateway state of Nigeria
2. They lack modern equipment for towing broken down vehicle and to rescue trap accident victims.
3. They do not have a single ambulance to rescue accident victims, to the nearest hospitals through out our local government. Many lives that have been lost could have been saved.
4. Their local government offices do not befit the status of their local government commandants. Sorry to say sir, they are an eye sore for a government agency.
I am using this medium to bring these fundamental issues about *TRACE* to your attention, because l am sure, you may not be aware of them, knowing well that your desire is to give the best and make all things work well.
Sir, the issue of the ambulance should be quickly looked into. At least one per each of our Senatorial Districts will go along way to help them in doing their job in a more decent way.
The use of trucks to rescue accident victims does not portray our great state in any good ways sir. Our state should be showing the pace for others to follow as we have been doing.
Trusting that this special appeal will be given the quick and favourable attention needed from your good office, sir.
