The killers of 400 Level student of Lagos State University, LASU, Favour Daley-Oladele, have confessed in court.
It was gathered that the killers: a prophet, Segun Philip; a woman, Bola Adeeko; and her son, Owolabi Adeeko, were arraigned last Friday at Osun State High Court sitting in Osogbo, the Osun State capital over the murder of Daley-Oladele, earlier this year.
Favour was said to be the girlfriend to Owolabi who lured her into her death in other to use her for money rituals to enrich his family.
The Ogun State Police Command arrested the self-acclaimed prophet alongside Owolabi over the killing of Daley-Oladele a final year Sociology student at the Lagos State University.
The prosecutor from the Ministry of Justice, Kemi Bello, had brought the suspects before the court on two counts of conspiracy and murder.
Owolabi narrated how he used his girlfriend to prepare a ritual meal for himself and his mother who according to him was ‘broke’.
“I lured her in, we killed her and used her to prepare pepper for me, my mother and the prophet to eat – just like the prophet commanded. It was my mother that prepared the meal”, Owolabi confessed.
The trio have been remanded in the upper Correctional Service in Osogbo.
