The Speaker of Edo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Francis Okiye has been impeached by 9 out of 10 members of the Assembly,the Editor Nigeria reports.
The lawmakers also elected Hon. Marcus Onobun as the new Speaker of the Assembly.
This happened during the house plenary on Monday, October 12, 2020.
