While there are many political structures and affiliates in both old and new blocks of politician running administrative and governmental offices in Ado-Odo Ota local government in Ogun state, Honorable Yusuf Sherif Abiodun who happens to be the Ogun state House of assembly majority leader has placed his foot on the ladder of running projects impactful enough to outlive him even in office as assembly member in the state.
"I Intend to have projects that are of more importance and impactful to my people rather than those which just help them solve immediate problems" he stated this when Global Parlance reporter visited him recently. He said while sinking boreholes and other empowerment projects are good however,he decided to begin with the Free school bus project primarily for school students. The majority leader expressed his satisfaction seeing students and pupils being happy using this very facilities as it has been his dream when he was the local government chairman in 2011. He added it's a dream come true for him.
When answering question on why he started with school bus minding high cost of maintenance of vehicles and it's attendance challenges,he declared he is prepared for the challenges as long as it satisfied his people as their representative.
It should be noted that no politician within and around Ado-Odo Ota local government and it's environment has ever nurture nor birthed free school bus initiation before now but the majority leader also known as 'Ibeman' by friend and allies not only dreamt it but fulfill it as a pioneer of such community projects in the local government.
