The presence of Mobile Policemen, soldiers and some civilians, popularly known as 'Omo-Adugbo' prevented hoodlums attempted to attacked Elliot Police Station in Fagba area, a suburb of Lagos State.
According
to sources, the hoodlums numbering about hundred both male and females
descended on the police station popularly called ‘red house’ around 2:00
pm on Saturday afternoon.
It was gathered that the hoodlums have attacked some small business owners in the area through welding dangerous weapons, petrol and matches towards their targeted places to raze down especially the police station.
The Mobile Policemen and Soldiers are presently on ground to maintain law and order within the vicinity.
