The
suspected ethnic or religious clash has been between the Hausa and
Yoruba community in Fagba, Iju-Ishaga/Ifako-Ijaiye Local Council
Development Area of Lagos State over a week.
According
to the report gathered by journalists the ethnic clash has
resulted in setting some houses on fire, thereby causing panic among
residents.
Sources say
there were skirmishes in the area on Wednesday evening and early morning
yesterday but that was doused by some means.
A video clip went viral then reporting hausa boys looting and carting away goods from shops the voice in that clip heard mentioning Fagba junction repeatedly. However, fresh reports say
there’s fresh trouble currently brewing in the area with opposing sides
welding dangerous weapons as they defend their territories.
